Actually i know its possible but i was just wondering if there is a way to do it, as i have some old CF cards that i wouldn't want to go to waste. A link to a howto or something similar would be great. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Thanks, in advance

you could use a usb adapter, but i gues you would need external power depending on if it is a cf or a microdrive.

you can use any media you like once you get USB Host mode working on the gp2x, either with your own self-built adapter cable, art103's one, etc.

i have our BoB set up with my GP2X, and currently use my JOBO Datatank, which has a built-in card reader for all major formats, including CF, and its a piece of cake to use those cards with the GP2X now .. was watching movies from over 60 gigs on-disk over the weekend, woot!! :)

They make sd to cf adapters but not the other way around ( for obvious size reasons . )

I spent hours looking for a CF to SD adaptor a few weeks ago, but came to the conclussion that they weren't available (through legitimate means anyway).
The SD people do not want to allow these sorts of adapters as they could be used to disable the secure part of SD cards (whatever that may be for).

Of course that doesn't mean that they aren't made in some far off country, which has no regards for licensing laws. Think pirate NES consoles, etc
