I flashed my gp2x with the network support kernel, installed the proper USB utilities for the gp2x, turned on the USB support (with configured .gpu script) and installed the RNDIS drivers for windows xp. I was able to ping my gp2x but other than that, nothing else. I have a few questions regarding this:

1.) Is sshd running on the gp2x and if not, can I get it running?
2.) Can I setup DNS routing on the gp2x instead of using ICS?
3.) Can someone help me set up ICS? Apparently with a domain controller and static IP addressing, you can not set up ICS. Does anyone know any other alternatives or work arounds?

Essentially I want to be able to just ssh into my gp2x from putty so I can modify some boot scripts, etc. I want to test some theories with Qtopia. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[quote=WolfspTelnet 192.168.0.2 works for me. you can use vi to edit. I prefer mc but its not available on gp2x.

I can't do telnet either, and now I can't even get it to connect correctly. When it starts, it adds a new network device called Linux USB Ethernet/RNDIS gadget. Does anyone else's do this, and if so, what do you set the tcp/ip settings for in windows?

Ok. Now this is the issue I'm having with it:

Has anyone seen the windows xp connection cease to function when you plug your gp2x into the PC via RNDIS/USB? I can ping my gp2x and telnet to it, but my wifi connection will not work during that time. Anyone?
