This is a recent screenshot of my desktop (Win 2k)
My winamp playlist-window is placed fullscreen on a old TV left of the screen

Where can I find wallpapers of game-levels, like kknd cf's metal slug ones above ??

COOOL...what are you using?
The appearance of the desk is mostly provided by Astonshell
The theme is a mixture of several ones:
The Taskbar/Traybar/Startbutton is from "Gadnium" theme, which I had to recolor from blue to grey.
AFAIR the buttons in the top middle are borrowed from the "Crimson Sword" theme, and again recolored (they belong to the Aston "Toppanel" plugin)
Most programs are started from the neat scroll-out launch-bars which are hidden at the lower left & right edge of the screen. (see here & here)

The wallpaper is from deviantart I guess, they have a lot of cool stuff.
Mp3player is Winamp 2.91 with "groovegadget" skin.
ICQ is Miranda, simply the best IM-Client for windows around.
The systemstats at the very top are Winbar

is astonshell free? maybe I'll switch shell again

@ Nova: Desktopx ???. I tried it and a load of different themes, To be honest it was a piece of crap. Themes are designed for specific desktop resolutions and can not be used for others easliy. Don`t work on anything other than XP (Win2k user here). Shortcut links have to be reconfigured manually. Removes the useful right click context menu with a useless desktopx one, Shall i stop now, Yay i think i should.
