I just took off the screen protector, after having it on for 6+ months! I've finally seen the beauty of the GP32's screen. It suddenly looks a lot bigger! I can now finally see that the screen is in fact a lot more reflective than the GBA! When I turned it on and played Family Guy and snes, wow. The colors were so vivid and crisp! It's was so stunning! I'm really happy that I took it off now. If anyone else still has theirs on, take it off and enjoy your GP32!

the protective film that should be taken off as soon as you get it???? My non flu is amazing with how well I can see the screen and the brightness and colors and I've done nothing to it.

now prepare for dust,,, a hell of alot of dust.

It just sticks to the gps screen and is near impossible to remove properly.

Dust is easy to remove with either wide electrical tape or an air duster, it even gets rid of smudges(the tape) and wont damage it at all.

I really dont understand why anybody would leave the protective film on, it really isnt designed to be left on.

Prepare for... the scratches! I kept my gp32 in my pocket and know my screen is scratched to hell, I don´t see it in certain angles but it´s very frustrating.
I´m thinking about buying a replacement from craig.

You had it for over 6 months!?
Thats sick.
Didn't your protection thing have many bubbles on it?
I took of mine directly when i got my GP32 flu.

you're talking about that little piece of plastic that they put on top when they ship it??

How I wish I still had the pleasure of a scratched screen....try having a scratched LCD!!!!! Then again I have used it with a bare LCD for a while now.....now that's clarity!

I'm leaving my procective film on. Theres no many bubbles so its worth it. a good scratch protector :D

it's only a fiver for a new screen cover from GBAX, not too much to fork out if you get it scratched
The reason I don't have a new screen on mine is because those replacement screens are problematic, they come with a film which has to be removed, but it often removes the anti reflective coating which means the screen is purple from certain angles and it's very annoying.

Only very tiny ones scattered across the screen, which were very hard to notice with the FLU on, and a long, thin, horizontal one across the bottom.

6 MONTHS !!

WOW Is that a record or has anyone lasted longer??
I don't think mine lasted 6 minutes!!
No record, still have mine on ever since I got my GP32 (non-FLU) which is *thinks* a little over a year and a half ago. ^_^

But as I use no case and I keep it in my pocket all the time it does help avoid scratches. The only thing broken up till now is the batter compartment-lid... *still looking for a replacement* o_o

I took mine off today, after about a year of having it on. It really does make an amazing differance. I took it off just so I could enjoy Chrono Trigger all the more :p. Now I just have to keep it safe...
