Hey, I'm new here. I ordered my non-FLU today from Lik-Sang, and after looking around varouis websites I'm still a little confused. I've ordered a 128 memory card too.

What I really wanna kno is....

Can any Movie file type be converted to the GP , and if so, how?

What is the greatest Snes emu and Mega Drive emu? How fast do they run?

How good is the Neo Geo Pocket Emulator?

And what's Firmware:p

Thanks very much, I'm sure you are all sick of the same questions by now lol.

Well, for the movie stuff, you would need to convert the movie file type to AVI. I then you can convert MPEG video (.mpg) fairly easily. Well, the Snes emus can run pretty well without sound, with sucks because a lot of those games had god music. However, it is still a great emulator, and is worth checking out. The NGPC emulator isn't very popular, but I have heard some good things about them. And the firmware is like the OS of the GP32. On a computer there is Windows and other operating systems that you can change if you want. The same is on the GP32, you can flash its BIOS to get different firmwares. Hope I could help! Enjoy your GP! :)

Snes can run pretty well with sound if you can overclock. OpenSnes9x is the best emulator, it runs quite a lot of games full speed without sound and some even nearly full speed with sound.
You just have to hope you'll be able to overclock high.

You can find out how much you can overclock simply by trying it out ;)
If your GP32 crashes, the clock speed is too high. Simply restart the GP32 and try a lower clockrate.

It doesn't damage your GP32 :)

the Neo Geo pocket emu is pretty awsome if you ask me, no sound though. Genesis (or megadrive if thats what you prefer) was pretty good for fGen which you could only get on christmas. (but im sure someone wouldnt mind sending it to you via email or IM)
