yeah, I found that little protective film there too, about 3 weeks after I got it.. hah. I started to pick at it once I noticed the weird bubles and whatnot on the plastic, and I was thinking that it was a really bad mold. It turned out to be the film stuff.. Pretty cool.

I like the aesthetics of the iRiver. I just wonder how well it will play games, and if it will be anywhere near as open ended as the GP2X. I like the compact design, though.
