I want to be able to order the pandora when it is made available, but the preorder thing is kind of touchy right now considering I was laid off last year and have been doing a month here and 2 weeks there at jobs and am not sure where to have the unit sent since the release is so up in the air-...
I am hoping it comes out soon- I haven't pre ordered since there has been address flux as I am one of the laid off masses and have been contracting for work- so delivery address changes from month to month- but I will be right up on it when orders are taken for the manufactured units!
I am just wondering what the time between the first pre-order and the second batch of units will be- what if we go to pre-order and they are sold out already- wouldn't be too far fetched
I do, I use it as an electronic musician b/c vista still has too many bugs and I use a lot of windows only software that don't have equivalent software packages on linux or mac.

I am going with the pandora- maybe the wiz later, but I want the more linux-ie functions of the pandora (with an actual keyboard) and the analog controllers- the wiz does look nice and like I said I may get both in the long run- but I want the UI of the pandora as well as the dual SD slots and...
I got one on launch (b1h w/ the big hd and a gig of RAM) I love the thing- check here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQV8_pFS6dM that is me with the korg padkontrol and wibrain only
videos would be nice- prolly of it running linux apps and games- for the most part we all know what emulators and videos look like, and the specs are more than adequate for that-
otherwise- I wouldn't mind a video of someone showing up at my door and handing me one ;)
I chose ubuntu because personally I want to use the pandora for a few different things and it seems like a standard UI like ubuntu would be best- I am looking to not only use it for gaming, but also as a midi controller/sequencer to tie with my laptop/umpc that I currently use- if the UI is too...
