    Gp2x Value Pack Launched!

I'm thankful when I see posts by people like DaveC especially as the average person sometimes couldn't care less about whatever and often simply puts up with whatever they're given.

    Backlighting

I tried to find an afterburner online and couldn't find one anywhere in the UK or on eBay worldwide. I've a question I'm hoping you might be able to answer. I have a GP32 BLU and the wrong voltage was used on the PSU to power it resulting in it being dead. I replaced the D11 zener diode...

GP32 Mirkosdk Lcd Forced Refresh Rate

Anyone know if mirko's SDK gp_initFramebuffer function ever worked as it's supposed to regarding setting the LCD's refresh rate? At the default cpu speed (66MHz) 44Hz is the LCD refresh rate regardless of the refresh rate I specify. Here is a table showing the results using the latest mirkoSDK...

    GP32 Gp32 Sdl: Sdl_flip Waits For Vsync?

I'm using SDL for the GP32. I've read the GP32 SDL source and it doesn't look like it is doing vsync anywhere. I haven't yet been able to compile the GP32 SDL source (lots of errors) so I can't be sure the final version precompiled binaries I've been using are using the x_gp32 lib which is a...

    GP32 Gp32 Sdl: Sdl_flip Waits For Vsync?

Well with vsync disabled it tears a lot so it's useless except for testing. I wanted to know where in the code it does the vsync so I can disable it for a test I want to do. Yeah I read the SDL docs too. I want to do a test without vsync enabled which is why I'm looking for the vsync code so I...

    Wtd: Gp32 Blu

My GP32 BLU doesn't power up anymore due to incorrect voltage on the PSU. I'm looking for a kind soul to sell my their broken GP32 so I can use the PCB to replace my GP32 BLU's PCB. I already tried to fix it by replacing the D11 zener diode but it still doesn't power up so a replacement PCB is...

    GP32 Devkitarm9, Please Help!

DJWillis posted EABI compatible GPSDK and it compiles and works fine after a minor change to the makefile (Yakumo mentions the fix at the bottom of the thread): http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?showtopic=32302

Is Gp2x.co.uk A Dodgey Online Store?

I suspect Epicenter has mellowed recently so perhaps everyone just move on and allow him to be the valuable member of this community he is destined to become? :D

    Widescreens On Handhelds

I agree with DaveC. A 480 x 272 LCD would be a huge mistake for emulation. craigix: Can you post what the cost is for: 1. 320x240 LCD 2. 480x272 LCD 3. 640x480 LCD 4. Any other LCDs you deem a consideration. I suspect for a GP2X or future handheld people would be willing to pay a bit more for...

    Widescreens On Handhelds

A handheld with a 640x480 screen would be nice although a widescreen at close to that resolution wouldn't be too bad either. :)

    GP32 Gp32 Sdl: Sdl_flip Waits For Vsync?

I started programming on the GP32 with SDL recently and the framerate with a very basic program is capped suggesting vsync is enabled. I checked the SDL source code etc but I can't find where it's waiting for the vertical retrace. The test program I wrote simply calculates and prints the...

Did you do the light mod with LEDs yet and if so how is it? Also Is there a tutorial for adding white LEDs?

I Just Did The Gp32 Vcore Pencil Mod

I haven't yet got around to using the video playback feature. Does it have to be much higher than 166MHz to get optimal playback?

    Different Voltage Output Values

Here's an article about the subject: http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Hardware...rboardvoltages/ Generally motherboard readings are often inaccurate and aren't to be relied upon.

I Just Did The Gp32 Vcore Pencil Mod

I decided to pencil Vcore mod my other GP32 and it now does 166MHz stable (from 156MHz) with 1.93v (from 1.77v). It's very difficult to find a safe voltage with the pencil mod and one time I put way too much on and it was at 3.1v and it wouldn't boot. Fortunately it didn't fry anything. :blink...

    Gp32/gp2x

It says on the allack site: They 275MHz version is pre-order and will be available in January. I wonder if it'll be a MK3 or 275MHz overclocking testing like www.gp2x.co.uk do? Also, recently I've seen second hand GP2X's sell on eBay for less than £100 (last two were under £70) so if anyone...

    Gp32/gp2x

If you get a GP32 you'll most likely keep reading all about the GP2X especially as the GP32 community has all but gone silent on here (except I guess Mame development). I haven't yet bought a GP2X as I'm still having fun playing around with the GP32 but it's becoming harder to resist temptation...

I Just Did The Gp32 Vcore Pencil Mod

After reading the long thread on here about the pencil Vcore mod I decided to try it. I've two GP32s so it wouldn't have been a big loss if it all went wrong. I checked the current Vcore before I started and it was 1.78v and then I did lots of experiments and eventually decided on overvolting...
