Hi all,

I have read some older comments regarding 3D acceleration - namely that, yes, their is hardware support for OpenGL ES 1.1, but the kernel does not yet support it.

Those who have a unit already and are receiving firmware updates -
1) Is this something that has changed? Is OpenGL supported in the kernel/hardware yet?
2) Is there software OpenGL support (even if hardware isn't working yet)?

I have had all the OpenGL ES stuff for well over a month now. Ask GPH for it, they will probably give it to you.

Fantastic. I am assuming my unit (which arrives next week) will have the latest firmware, thus OpenGL support.

Do you happen to have any subjective assessment about the capabilities of the 3d hardware?
