Beryl

The second thing that should have come into your head is that the GP2X has 64MB of RAM, no hardware 3d acceleration, runs on a couple of 200MHz ARM processors, has a resolution of 320x240, and no full X server, making a port/remake of Beryl somewhat troublesome :p

It does have a full X server... not xorg or XFree86 admittedly, but it's still fairly complete.

So it does! I stand corrected :)

Nice work Orkie, looks good. I'll have to give it a try...

I don't think it would run at any acceptable speed if it was actually even possible to port it. If you want to give it a shot, try making a menu replacement for the gp2x using some nice 3d effects with the limited opengl port we've got. Useless but neat... don't think anything like that would ever come into fruitition but who knows.

Well it would be cool in menus and such I guess. Should be quite possible, seeing as things like Payback and the PSX emu run ok, and push more triangles than beryl would...
