You want the image to use in your skin OR do you want to change it in your skin? I assume the first. If you mean the 2nd as far as I know it is impossible.

I've made a tool to change the startup-image in the bootloader from fw 1.2 to fw 1.4. In the new uboot (fw 2.0) they changed the colourdepth of the bitmap and of course the memory-adress, too. So you couldn't use it without a slight modification. I'll do this as soon as possible...
