Hello,

I've seen that there was a warcraft I port for the Wiz ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0VJIEDMfVI ), and I was wondering if to expect ports of Warcraft II and Diablo 1 was realistic or not ?

Thank you guys,

LN

Edit : oh, ok, my bad, seems that there is already a port of Wargus ;)

There is no open source engine for Diablo so no chance of a Port. There IS however, a version for the PSX so if the Playstation emulator works for the Wiz then you can play it that way. Amazed no-one has tried to make an open source version of the D2 engine though.

There's no source code for Warcraft or Albion either, but those two are on the GP2X. There are ways to "port" a game without the source code... It isn't a true port though, works in a similar way to Wine, from what I understand.

You're just nit-picking. I would have mentioned an open source version of the Diablo engine if one existed and I already said "Amazed no-one has tried to make an open source version of the D2 engine though.".

Hardly, just pointing out that there are other possibilities if no source code is available... ScummVM is one example.
