Comix Port?

Its plausible, we have a Python 2.4 port, however someone should port Python 2.5, it fixes a big bug in the garbage collector which can cause problems especially for low memory devices like the GP2X.

edit: Hmm, it uses GTK, I guess it would work in GPE? I guess it wouldn't be too hard to write something else that uses SDL instead.

In the meantime, you can extract the contents to a directory and use the fairly compentent built-in image viewer. CBR and CBZ are just RAR'd and ZIP'd files, and they contain images (usually JPGs). The image viewer should handle them nicely, and it has a zoom function. :)

I've done so, saehn, but when zoomed in enough to make the text readable, it's hard/slow to navigate around the page. Not bad, but not ideal.

What I meant by the zoom function in Comix is this:

Actually, it's termed a magnifying lens, my mistake... but it would be very useful for comics.

How useful would it be on a 320x240 3.5" screen though? Fullscreen zooming seems more reasonable (the kind the imageviewer has)
