Strange... if it runs fine on your pc, it should run on the 2X (not necessarily, but I don`t think it has anything to do with you using Linux).

Are you sure you have edited the script to run your dcb correctly?

Could you post the source to your app?

i tested simple app downloaded from fenix.divsite.
like i say when i compiled on desktop... running fine
but on gp2x still no.

in script i use "./fxi ./test.dcb -nosplash 2>err.txt" and after crash error log says: " ./test.dcb: no es un DCB version 2 o compatible ".
i think that my desktop fxi and fxc are not compatible with gp2x fxi version.

Oh, yes, use this version to compile :)
And post the source, there might be some
stuff that won`t work on the 2X.

<code>
PROGRAM Hello;
Begin
x=0;
while(x < 320)
delete_text (0);
x += 2;
write(0, x ,100, 1, "hello world");
FRAME;
End;
End;
</code>

on linux desktop compiled with:
0.84 .... working
0.84b .... working
0.91 .... working

on gp2x not working with compiled test.dcb from all this tested versions.
log already says
./test.dcb: no es un DCB version 2 o compatible.

thanks for your help. but like i said: im developing on linux [ currently Archlinux on Desktop PC and Ubuntu on laptop ] not on Windows :(

your version works fine with gp2x but i must use "wine" under linux system to compile source .prg to .dcb :(

but generated .dcb that works on gp2x dont work
with native 0.84 FXI for linux :)

Hi,

I'm since September studying, studying and studying a bit more because I need to finish my University career as soon as possible so I don't have almost any time to code or just speaking :(

I hope next year will be better than this one...

By the way, the source code is in my website :)

Hey, where can I find those binaries? :blink:

On http://fenix.divsite.net/download.php the latest one is a 0.84b version.

Now I'm using the 0.84 binaries + Gedit =)
(being used to emacs, never thought Gedit was so powerful and extensible...)

Nevemind. Looking for some documentation I found the binaries too.

Time to study...
