Converting Mpeg To Realmedia (for Nokia N-gage Qd)

can anyone advise me on a good mpeg to realmedia converter? i tried easy real converter but when i play it back on my phone i just get sound and no film. any ideas? cheers

Theres the freeware program from nokia forum that will convert movies to 3gg format that will play on ngage

you need to register but its free

you could give pvauther a try but its a demo and you have to pay for it but its gives you more encoding options

i use helix producer and it works great. here is the link to the app. its in a yahoo brief case and if you dont know how to use it, here's how:

first click the yahoo brief case icon on top, then sign in as hp_dl1 // download. turn off the window, and open it up again and there will be some files. open up the helix producer folder, download the parts and extract them with winrar.

Yes you can, using Tinra (easiest with TinraGUI) which you can get here but converting Real often leads to serious synchronisation problems

Edit: apparently Tinra is a bit outdated now, but the site I linked to has other alternatives too.
