As the title says, it would be cool if somebody made a test BUT in final hardware to try to port Mupen64 to the Pandora.
This emulator is "great", almost as great as Project64 and probably better than 1964, it was a originally Linux-exclusive emulator but has been recently ported to Windows and Mac OSX. The website says that it can be ported to any OS that supports the SDL library and the source code can be downloaded from their message board.

Here's the link to the main site: http://mupen64.emulation64.com/

UPDATE: Mupen64 was discontinued sometime in 2005, I didn't know that, but the last time I tried the emulator it hadn't been ported to Windows so probably that longer ago than what I thought. Instead another group revived the project not too long ago as "Mupen64 Plus" and here is their site which also has a link to download the source code:

From my understanding, the x86 dynamic recompiler is not supported by ARM (as it is a different architecture) and would need to be rewritten; this would take considerable effort.

Please correct me if I am mistaken.

From what I heard ZodTTD was going to take a whack at porting Daedalus to the pandora
