EDIT: Doesn't work for me, it turns off the speakers, yes, but there is no sound to be heard in either tv-out or headphones.
EDIT 2: If I turn the volume up to 100% I can hear a very weak sound signal.

Actually I had a loose headphone socket around and tried to put it in the headphone socket.
