I have an mp3 player that can record music/voice onto a smart media card.
I believe the file structure is a standard FAT16/FAT 32 on it.

Can the gp32 read it directly, or does it expect a gp32 specific file structure?

Thanks!
Erich

if u format the card in the gp32, then stick the card into ur voice recorder, record some stuff, then put it back into the gp32 and find the mp3 recording you should be able to play it i think.

im in a picky mood, so ill be picky, this would have been more suited to the general forum, and also, wait for your post to appear, dont do it 3 times at once as you appear to have done.

I think the GP32 reads a Fat 12/16 file structure. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Even if the GP32 could read the card directly, I dought the GP32 would be able to play the recorded voice/music as most if not all mp3 players with built-in mics record in low quality pcm/wave (8000 hz 32kbps i think). The GP32 does not play wave files afaik.
