Emu's and screen size question..

it may be great to be able to play many retro games on GP32, but does the screen size lead to games being hard on the eye, or just certain types of games.

Yes, Sensible Soccer using SNESemu is slightly hard on the eye. Those sprites are tiny!
 
I think youll find its more the framskip 3 that hurts there, flip it to 1 and its fine (tho slow), the SMS seems smaller still but plays great :p

But no, ive played some games for hours and the screens fine :)

Well... mine doesn't (although SNES does a little bit - suspect that's the FS issue though)... I suppose you could test to see if it did by getting say a NES emu and playing it in 1024x768 on a PC - its roughly the same res then (GP32 seems to have pixels about the same size as those of a 17 inch monitor at 1024x768)
