wow someone who has actually heard of Kaiser and likes it! Great crack with a few mates round. I'm currently writing a bad rendition of it for WinXP using VB.Net - let me know if you want a copy - although it's currently unfinished and the war is laughable to say the least

c64 favs - forgot about Pirates, usagi yojimbo

Um.... heh, bit embarrasing but.

Went to the latest "Back in Time Live" do in Brighton, has anyone heard of it? Basically all the "famous" c64 music dudes where there (Ben Daglish, Rob Hubbard, Martin Galway, Dave Whittaker) and had different bands/tributes to all the old sid music you know and love.

Was a really good gig, but extraordinarily geeky... but was worth it to talk to the guys from back in the day and experience a whole lotta nostalgia!

uuhh Archon ... what a true classic! How many hours of my youth did I spend? BTW can someone remember the name of the game, a later Archon-Clone where you can construct your own monster-mixes with different battleskills and let them fight against each other?

Way of the Exploding Fist ... I remember how stunned I was about the sampled scream at the start of the game ... those were happy times! But on the GP I prefer IK+ via CaSTaway.
