Would it pe feasible to run Grandia 2?
I think Grandia (1) will run, as it's for PS1.

Both dreamcast, and PC and Ps2 versions exist.

Edit: PC ver sys req
System:
PII 350 or equivalent
RAM:

Video Memory:
16 MB

There's no Saturn version of Grandia II. Emulating the PC or PS2 versions is totally out of the question. It was originally released on Dreamcast; emulating that version might be possible. But I doubt anyone can say or do anything to determine how likely it is, because right now Dreamcast emulation isn't fast enough.

yeah sorry that was a stupid typo, i got saturn and dreamcast mixed up in my head :(

edit, geh, typo again, it was a funny typo, i wrote creamcast, however that happened

The only feasible way could be a reimplementation. That would need reverse engineering of the whole game engine.

First file formats, then how the engine is done. If not uses scripts or a bytecode, it becomes harder.

There still aren't proper reimplementations of 3D games as I know of. The only ones I know are 2D (ScummVM is the most successful, a collection of adventure game engines), the 3D ones I found are quite WIP.

Grandia series is a nice candidate, Rez and Shenmue too. I would love to play them on Pandora.

Another nice game is Cosmic Smash, an unknown but very good one. It's a mix of Virtual Tennis and Breakout, with aesthetic a bit similar to Rez but different. I love the intro music :)

Maybe a HLE approach could make some Dreamcast games to be played?

A Saturn emulator is very unlikely. The Wikipedia article indicates that there's a DC version, so there might be a chance of running that.

edit: I guess that's what I get for posting without reloading...

Run on what exactly? No emulators exist for those machines and it isn't open source...
