superlefax,
I'm trying your way (VD 1.4.7) but have a few questions. What version xvid are you using. I think I have the newest version and I can't adjust the "kbps", it's grayed out.

So I try outputing it anyways and I can see the clip specs in GPcinema but when I try to play the clip it reboots.

Thanks

For resize you should use Lancznos3, this is the best resizing algorithm. It could be overkill for GP32 but you said high quality don't you? ;)

The settings here in the gpcinema section get the maximum quality possible. If you want better sound quality just up the clock speed past 133 and set the settings higher.

Ok,
Thanks. Yep, the site's back again. Working really nice. I converted a bunch of "test" flicks and looking really nice.

Dozer's suggestion is also very nice.

I went from a complete klutz at this to getting it all to work. Yeeehhh  :D  :D
