Hi!

Video is already working very well, Today I released the new version, based on ingenics 20090903-sources, and it plays at least some video's better then the mediaplayer in the original firmware.

Download is in the thread named above.

This is slowly starting to become interesting.
I'm using my dingoo mainly as a video-player on the bus to school and I watch xvid (about 500x400 pixels I think, can't remember bitrate)

- Does this work with the current mplayer-ingenic?
- Does it drain more battery than the original fw?

1. I guess it will, but can't tell for sure until you tell me the full details ;)
sound is also pretty important, as it seens to be not that optimized for now.
2. See 1. If you tell me all details, I'd test with a sample. Dingux itself doesn't drop much power and with mplayer you could even use cpud.

The file is 208MB, 23 minutes and 45 seconds playtime

XVID 512x384
2 Audio channels (But I only use:), stereo, 112000Bps, 16 Bits, 44100Hz (MP3)

(I switch the audio channels using a selfmade tool by invalidating the RIFF header when playing it on the original firmware)
