2 points for anyone who got the Colbert reference.

In the Build-In Games menu (of the old orange GUI), there are games like Boomshine and Myriad. Wouldn't it be cool if you could run all your games from this menu?

Now you can. Just edit (or make your own) ini files and place them in the game folder. This is only for the bold and the daring, because you need to place your emu folders/files in the game folder of NAND, too. If anyone knows the path to get the ini files to show in the Game menu from outside of the game folder, let me know.

The best part is you can make your own icons, and use them in the menu (best at 32x32 pixels, or smaller, need to be .png files).

Anything that is .gpe will run. I tried this game called Abuse_1.0. It's an awesome game that has your character looking like Predator and the controls are unique (8-way firing using the D-Pad.)

Link of pic I took of my Game menu now (with some icons that I edited, all work/run).

... and most games in the archive have been altered during the last days so that they include an .ini and all you need to do is extract them onto the GAME-Directory to use them :) (thanks to kasumi89 for doing this :))

Only a few categories missing (and all the normal apps), but we're getting there :)

only the ini file has to be in the game folder, it just has to include a valid path to the executable in question.

[info]
name="The title you want to see in the list"
path="/relative/path/to/your/executable.gpe"
icon="/relative/path/to/an/icon.png"

a valid path would be: "/../emus/emu1/emu1exec.gpe"

the ".." takes you one directory up, out of the "game" folder, "/emus/" takes you down from the root directory (/mnt/sd/) to the folder "emus"
