Ok don't flame me for this people, but i've downloaded the vania mod for quake and don't know what i should do with the files. Should i just copy the whole folder into the quake folder? Or overwrite the .pak files in the id1 of the mod with the .pak files in the id1 of the gp quake game (which works yay :D)

Just tried replacing the pak0.pak, doesn't work. comes up with a can't find blah blah.dat error.

Did I really do that bad a job writing the readme.txt?

*checks readme.txt*

Installing and running:

Put gpQuake.fxe in "gp:\gpmm\"
Put gpQuake.qbi in "gp:\gpmm\quake\"
Put quake datafiles (*.pak) files in "gp:\gpmm\quake\id1\"
Put other mod folders in "gp:\gpmm\quake\"
No, it looks like I didn't <_<.

but is there a way to just run a indivgual map?
hows that work, the same?
To run an individual map you can either try typing 'map mapname' into the console (doesn't always work for some reason) or you can create a file called autoexec.cfg and put the same command in there (I've not had problems with this method yet). No matter which way you use, you don't need to add the extension to the map name.
