I'm probably going to be making quite a few of these, along with some characters, since KOF91 is so easy to modify. I plan on overhauling the GUI, as it looks very fucking ugly at the moment. I already got some done, but I'll release it when its finished.

Anyway, this is Dead Pool from MK2. Includes a foreground, and a midi file along with the background. I reckon it turned out pretty damn good myself.

Get it here:

Just unzip it into the root directory with file names intact.

The Beach from Fatal Fury on the SNES:

this is fucking weird. i was in my room then i suddenly decided to come and learn how to port some tekken backgrounds and then i read that you are porting your own backgrounds. Did you use a tutorial? and if so where is it?

Ive stitched together heaps of backgrounds from video games, never used a tutorial. All it takes is an emulator which allows you to turn off certain graphics layers and a finger on the screenshot button. You then proceed to stitch all the pictures together in your graphics program of choice.

can you actually get the backgrounds to work on your gp? because every time i put in a new background then try to use it my gp just resets
I've only been testing them on the PC version, I'll try them on my GP32 now.

edit: Try deleting the midi files, copy one of the mod files in the directory, and put it in the place of the midi file. I dont think the GP32 version can play midis.

Hmm, after testing them on the Gp32 version, theres a few features missing. Foregrounds and animated backgrounds come to mind. Any chance they will be implemented?
