Mame In The Future?

I would enjoy "Area51" with a touch screen .... anyone have any idea if that would work?

I was wondering if in the near future anybody plans to port the full Mame to Pandora? Because I would love to play hardware like Sega 32 and more advanced machines such as early 3D arcade machines possible.

What is the "Sega 32"? I know of the Sega 32X, and if you want to play that, then you should know that Notaz has already said that he will be adding 32X support to Picodrive. http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?/topic/49866-32x-progress/

I have emailed the person that created the system model 2 sega emulator ,asking for source and possible ports for the pandora ,need to wait and see but that emulator is from the same person who does cps3 emulation, the sega arcade games in question run far better on this emulation platform than in mame.

If we can get System Model 2 to emulate than I hope we can get other Arcade machines from Sega to emulate.

What about Model 1 emulation? I would love to have perfect Virtua Racing in the palms of my hand...sure Picodrive runs MD VR great but its not a patch on the arcade version! And my old comp could run this Model 1 emulator way back i cant remember when!
Edit: I know MAME emulates VR too, but like someone said dedicated emulators run better and use less resources than MAME.
