Hi everybody

Today i tried to connect two arcade stick on my pandora and a wii u game pro controler

all are recognized in a lot of emulators.

Wii u game pro works perfectly, like a wii one

Neogeo X game controler and PS3/PC arcade stick have same issues.

I can use all the buttons, map them in emulators, but all directions doesn't work

If i try to map UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT, Pandora don't get entry....

It's strange, because when i choose to detect external controler, emulators wait user to click on the desired controler, so if i push UP on my pad, the program go immediatly to the right section to configure ps3 controler or neogeo x one's

If someone can help me, it will be great !!

Thanks

after some research, it appears that a lot of peaple ran into the same problem.

I made some test with qjoypad.

All the emu from ptitseb works great

PCSX, Picodrive just have buttons

FBA seems to not support external pad

On my mac, i have the same issue, arcade stick wicth have PS3 and PC compatibility didn't work

But if they are only PC compatible, it's ok

So finally, i change the internal cabling of my arcade stick (ultra ulia) and redirect UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT from stick to start, select R2 and L2 buttons

Now all it'ok in all emulators except FBA and withou the use of qjoypad

I think the problem is, that PS3 controllers have the "hat" switches as the dpad. Those are not mapable by a lot of software. Also on PC Linux and Mac.

Squidge did add Joysticksupport to pifba (a fba2x fork). Whoever maintains fba on Pandora could have a look at his code.

The hatswitches should be supported there, too.
