051203 is faster than 02 but theres no sound...

I hope that you are referring to the snes emu as I have sound in the NeoGeoCd emu.

As for the snes I did some experimenting and found this:

Load game rom with A button = Sound & slow

Load game rom with B button = No Sound & fast

Sound is there if you want it, or you can have smooth gameplay with no sound. :D

Thanks to Handos news article, I've copied a copy of the changelog from GPMania.com as the readme in the file is not in English.

I assume the second CPU isn't being used for SNES, so hopefully that can be dedicated to sound. [Almost?] full-speed SNES with sound! Yay!
Yeah I think the second CPU isn't being used right now.

Woo - and notice that it's got speed *and* transparencies :D

Terranigma appears to be running near full speed on the ASM core (ok, in the normal definition of it, not the super-one - there's still maybe 2-3 frameskip involved, but it's smooth-ish). More to the point, it's running *with* transparencies. So Chrono Trigger actually becomes worth playing (it's easy on the PC without transparencies because you just pressed 3 to switch between layers, but in OS9xGP you had to go into a menu, switch options, and fiddle in general every time you wanted to see text... which I just cbf with).

Now there's just sound and save-states to implement, and we'll have a nice little snes emu indeed :)

hey all, when i run neocdgp2x i just get the "snes for gp2x now loading please wait!" sceen and thats it.

ive installed the libraries and have the neocd.bin file.

am i missing something?

*edit* my bad - sorted now
