I understand where you're coming from, I would hate to code something and for people to complain that I wasn't coding something else.

To tell you the truth, the thing I am most looking forward to on the Pandora is the day that I will be able to play Ocarina of Time on my Pandora. However, I realize that I will have to wait, because no matter how hard you push it, you're not going to change a developer's mind about what they want to port/code. So the only way to get what you want is to do it yourself, or simply just wait patiently. I do not believe I have the coding ability yet to make such an emulator a realization, so I have decided to wait until someone comes along who is willing to put their time and effort into coding one for us. Then I will give that developer my full support.

Dolphin barely works on my computer, with a 9800GTX+, 3GB of RAM and a 2.1ghz Athlon 64 X2 4000+. It will not work on the Pandora.

I have the same setup except a 9600 and a quad core 2.7 ghz (i think it only uses one core anyway) and it runs 100 percent

I'm sorry if I wasn't understood.. I was just saying that the TV-Out and a Wireless Controller can easily substitute for Remote Play...

I was under the impression that Remote Play was the other way around. (allowed you to play PS3 remotely using your PSP)

Gah... My mistake on that.. It's just I assumed remote play would mean PSP to PS3...

Rather interesting playing a PS3 game on your PSP...

I've got a laptop with a 2.53GHz dual-core and a 9600M GS, and it runs perfectly (with the _occasional_ drop to 55fps or something). Dolphin runs very well, even on computers that aren't obscenely powerful.

it allows access to the ps3 xmb, including friend list and your files saved on the ps3 streaming on music and video etc

and allows you to play psx games inserted into the ps3 on you psp, however it does not allow you to play ps3 games on your psp

some games allow the ability to have say, your psp as a rear view mirror for a ps3 racing game etc

ive never used it for much more than curiosity, it was just something i thought that could be tested to maybe get some sort of functionality out of a recent build

Damn I m going offtopic myself now.. Well I spent more than 5 hours (!) testing ALOT of different CMS / Project management systems but each of them offered alot of features I don't even need which can't be removed without changing their code (which is usually large). On the other hand I also needed some specific features like parsing my code directly so it can generate cpu emulation status etc automaticly. This is why I ended up writing my own CMS (called Minimalistic Flat File CMS - its more of a fun name because lately everything ended up beeing a CMS on the web). I still have to split CSS from HTML and replace some tags with div etc. But it displays fine in Opera already so I thought I would move the news there as this thread gets longer and longer and its harder to look through. The other thing is that editing posts on this forum is a pain right now. But thats about it ;)

Ok last OT thing about the site: please don't use "<!DOCTYPE .... strict.dtd">" when you don't mean it - Google will ignore your page and browsers will fail to render it among other things when you say that you use strict XHTML even if you don't. (Tip: one major fail is the "<br>" instead of "<br/>" and having content directly under the "<html>"-tag)

About that shift issue of yours: I don't have any code to look at and would probably not be able to do anything about it anyways, most probably, but just wanted to say that I've had a very similar problem myself once, in a completely unrelated image editing program project where images were measured pefore being sent thru various filters, and the problem turned out to be an undocumented API 'feature' that made various size values into fixed-point values with 1 bit that was used internally for pixel blending (kinda like antialiasing)...
That probably won't be of any help, just wanted to make this post less off-topic :p

Everyone complains about the website, but I really like it. The layout isnt bad. And the best part is , that it gives us a easy way of searching news about PandoraPSP without having to check multiple forum pages :D

I hope you are able to fix those bugs.

Actually, not to drive the topic any further off... topic, but there are several downloadable PS3 games that you can play via remote play on PSP and at least one full disk game that is playable. The "rearview" mirror application I think only applied to F1 championship racing, no other game bothered to use it in that fashion.

As I understand it this is the same way that Onlive is supposed to work, doing all the video processing on their end and uploading streamed video to your box, but it;s been my experience that the compression needs to be super high and ugly in order to stream fast enough that there's no game killing lag.

But anyway, It;s probably pointless to discuss remote play since It;s unlikely that the PS3 would recognize the pandora under emulation as a registerable PSP due to proprietary defenses against just that sort of thing. (HA! back on topic at the end!)

note : 1 <= (1+one+2*two) <= 4, gives the number of components to operate in a vector or the number of vectors to operate in a matrix. vs, vt and vd is a generic name to describe scalar, vector or matrix registers in VFPU.

I thought it was supposed to be: 0xE9E8 = -0x69E8, but thats whats happening if you work after midnight, sorry about that.
Recoding would be a nice idea anyway.
