I cracked the screen on my first batch pandora and raised an RMA early in January. In the meantime, Craig sent that email saying they'd take my old Pandora back and replace it with a 1ghz unit for $349 so I replied to that email saying I'd take them up on the offer seeing as I had to send my Pandora back anyway due to my broken screen. I explained about the damaged screen but they said it was ok, I could still upgrade
However, they sent me a link to EDs shop with his upgrade options, which:
a) Says they only replace the PCB (not the the full unit which is not what the email says)
B) Says they only take fully working units (again, not what the email said).
c) Costs €330 which is about £70 more than the $349 quoted in the email.
So I've decided to withdraw my interest in upgrading. But I still need my screen replacing.
The status of my original RMA is still 'open'. How long does it take for them to look at it?
Also has anyone had their screen replaced? How much does it cost?
Cheers
