After a long time, it is available the second version of this interpreter to play Rise Of The Triad on GP2X.

Changes:
  • Fixed sound problems.
  • Added game music.
  • Added TVOut autodetection so now it isn't necessary to have 2 programs for each version.
  • Increased clock speed from 133 to 166 Mhz. It isn't too bad at 133 Mhz, but in maximum difficulty level it could slow down a bit when the screen is full of enemies.
For more information (especially how to configure music) read the text files included.

You can download it here.

Yay, the homebrew scene seems alive again! Thanks for the revamped release, I loved this game to death.

I tried this last night and it froze on startup. Is there a specific version of ROTT that needs to be employed?

Also, is there a specific list of files and where do they get copied?

Thanks! I'm excited to get this game working - I loved this game too.-mb

Love this release works perfectly.

Wondering why you dont include the music files in the release though ?
Because they are 17 MB and maybe people prefer save that space on their SD card and play without music...
