hi,

i've tried searching for an answer, sorry i could NOT see the exact answer.

im using video player 1.4 firmware / tv adaptor /
i am trying to play a movie via my av amplifier on my TV.

i'm still getting small sound from internal speakers.
i can plug in headphones, but then the sound comes form those i knew that would happen)

there doesn't seem to be a way to turn the internal speakers off,
when using the av adaptor?

this could be normal operation, although its a little anoying and probably draining the battery a little.
is this normal?
am i doing something wrong?
is this a possible addition for future firmware updates?

many thanks for your time in advance.

happy easter,

regards,

GaRy:)

Yep its a defect in this firmware. It will probaly be updated in the next one.

If you want just shove some sort of headphones or adapter in the headphone jack to make it shut up.

But if you put headphones in, the sound plays through them rather than the TV speakers.

what you could do is get a Phono to RCA connector hook that upto your gp2x and if your tv has a sound in thing just plug it in there
