Okay. I encountered another game like it, Gunman's Proof. Where it doesn't boot with sound enabled. But I upped the sound to like 44000Hz or somesuch, and it worked. Then I just save stated and loaded it at a lower one and was good. Terranigma wasn't so co-operative. I've tried almost every combination of settings I can think of, but I can't get it to play with sound. Is there ANY work around for this?

In the meanwhile I'll try different rom versions.

I've found that most Enix games seem to like having the audio hack on. I couldn't even get them to load without it on.

terranigma runs a treat w/sound on snesgp2x.. you do need to overclock slightly (235 is enough.. 250 is perfect). It's my wife's favourite game at the moment :)

I've tried the [!][f1] version and the NTSC hack now. No dice. I'm fairly sure I've tried the audio hack stuff, but I'll try again and give this SNESgp2x a crack. Thanks, lads.
