Im a bit curious if someone has tried running a torrent software on the Pandora and get it to work properly? I just ordered my Pandora but want to know what you have to say about this.

sebt3 packaged up Transmission, a Bittorrent client.

Now you can download Torrents with your Pandora.

Download: Transmission

im guessing thats actually downloading at 183kb/sec and not a full MB and a half per second

^ I'm guessing that the screenshot was taken on a desktop computer running transmission, so it is actually downloading at ~1.5MB/s. ;)

ok just so i dont get my hopes up yet as ive heard many bad things with wifi, nobody maxing out at more then 800kb/sec

I use Transmission quite a bit to download Linux ISOs, right now I have an Atom computer that I leave on over night to get them but if I could use the Pandora that would be better since it uses a fraction of the power. To get around the wifi issue(until it get fixed anyway) I hope to find a USB to Ethernet dongle that works for the Pandora. Then again maybe just a wifi dongle that works.
