USB Drive not mounting

Since I'm on the verge of setting up an RMA to get my nubs looked at, I thought I might as well test the USB host to see if that had any issues; well, it seems as if that might indeed be the case. I tried to access two USB drives, both formatted as FAT32, but neither of them would mount... Am I looking at yet another issue; or is there something I am missing?

usb can only provide 500mah of power, how much do your drives need to power up? or is it a externally powered drive? is it a usb 1.1 drive(highly unlikely but you never know)

Are they USB 2.0? I think it has to be USB 2.0 or use a hub that is. Not completely sure though; can somebody verify?

It's also possible your USB host has already crashed. Plugging in a USB1.1 device (and possibly even some actual 2.0 devices, maybe, I dunno) causes the USB host inside the processor to crash, and the only way to recover is to do a complete reset. Do that, and then try the newest, I guess. Along with dmesg output, we should be able to see what's what.
