I had some pc problems and was forced to buy a new motherbord etc everything works again except that i can't get usb networking working. everytime i hook up the gp2x it's detected as an unknow usb deveice. windows xp doesn't ask me what drivers i wish to use while i think it used to do this. if i try to change the driver in deveice manager and point to the linux.inf file i get an error message saying that there is no hardware info specified in the file.

i also tried right clicking the linux.inf file and chosing install but that didn't seem to change a thing it's still being detected as unknown usb deveice instead of linux rndis ethernet adapater.

any idea's ?

okay figured it out
u have to right click install the inf file and the reboot then it will detect it as rndis usb ethernet and u can link it with linux.inf file.
