Hey, i'm trying to find a software that can play WAV files. I see MP3 and WMP players, but where can i play the WAV's? Is there a program i can d/l that can change my WAV to MP3?

if you're using windows, CDex is very good for converting between audio file types. not only that, but it's free!

also, if you're doing low bit rate encodes, .ogg sounds much better than .mp3

I would recommend dbPowerAmp ( http://dbpoweramp.com/ ), as I find it to be very easy and it converts between dozens and dozens and dozens of formats.

I also second the motion for using Ogg Vorbis as your codec. No matter what the bitrate, it will sound literally at least twice as good as any mp3 codec.
