We had near Problems with Android for Pandora Disconnecting Errors and that helped

http://repo.openpandora.org/?page=detail&app=wifi-updater-app

Its a little older but should work and make your Wifi Connection more stable ;)

(fixes the disconnecting Problems often)

for a possible Wifi Speedup can you try to enter in a Terminal, then reconect to the Router

Code:
sudo iwconfig wlan0 power off
sudo iwconfig wlan0 rate 54M

That PND is overrated...

The drivers it loads are specific to one obsolete firmware release. (SZ 1.5 beta 5a IIRC)

It also does nothing to install them, it just loads them once, then instructs you to reboot which would effectively reverse the process.

@notaz & ingoreis: I have the latest firmware and already tried all those basic wifi optimization from the terminal, but without improvements...

Months ago I made a little script to auto restart the connection in this situation, then the problem was apparently resolved with the latest firmware, but It was just because I was using the other PC with an ethernet connection, but now that I started again to use it with wifi, the Pandora started to disconnect like in the old times...

Maybe I'll finish to work on that script... http://boards.openpandora.org/index.php/topic/8690-wifi-reconnector/?hl=wifirecon

Anyway it's not at all a solution, cause sometimes it keeps reconnecting 2 or 3 times every minute...
