Ok, so I am going to ditch my DS lite because it has no freaking games worth buying, and it probably never will.

Should I get a PSP or GP2X? I can not decide. Should I keep the DS and get a R4?

I am looking to emulate DOS games, like TIE FIGHTER and X-WING, can the GP2X or PSP do that better?

Dose the GP2X have wireless/wired internet access? (or the new F-200 coming out?)

Are Sony memory sticks or SD cards cheaper?

Dose the GP2X have that hand strap thing like the PSP? I don't drop things often but still would like to have it so people cant grab it out of my hands and run off.

GP2X can take AA batteries++, but PSP has a rechargeable battery--.

Can the GP2X or PSP run 3D emulators better?

Is the new GP2X F-200 going to have a more powerful processor or not?

The F-200 has a touch screen? ;) Don't see much use for it but it might be cool.

So what should I do?

Depends on your taste but there a lot of games that should be brought for the console, Trauma Center, New Super Mario Bros, Sonic Rush, Elite Beat Agents, Meteos, Animal Crossing, Theme Park, Advance Wars. Don't forget about the GBA games that you can also play.

That is a open ended question that is impossible to answer.

> I am looking to emulate DOS games, like TIE FIGHTER and X-WING, can the GP2X or PSP do that better?
Better? Yes. Well? No.

> Dose the GP2X have wireless/wired internet access? (or the new F-200 coming out?)
No and no.

> Are Sony memory sticks or SD cards cheaper?
SD usually but they are pretty close nowdays.

> Dose the GP2X have that hand strap thing like the PSP? I don't drop things often but still would like to have it so people cant grab it out of my hands and run off.
Buy one.

> GP2X can take AA batteries++, but PSP has a rechargeable battery--.
Okay.

> Can the GP2X or PSP run 3D emulators better?
PSP. PSOne is near perfect.

> Is the new GP2X F-200 going to have a more powerful processor or not?
No.

> The F-200 has a touch screen? wink.gif Don't see much use for it but it might be cool.
Yes.

> So what should I do?
You tell us. We are not you so you need to make the decision yourself.

Your going to want to do some searches on these forums, I believe this question has
been asked/answered many many times, just letting you know before you get crapped
on by a lot of members!

EXAMPLE: http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?act=S...=58&t=38620

EEErrr, that said, I own both and they compliment each other great, seriously I could not
decide between the two myself BUT I will say the PSP does require some research / work
before your going to get full use out of it. Emulators on PSP wont run until you've flashed
the firmware with a custom version, video has to be converted to a specific format etc,
if you have some knowledge and like to tinker in this manner the PSP is nice with it's bigger
screen. The GP2X is simpler for video playback as it's Divx compatible. I would suggest though
do some research on each, decide if your willing to tinker and in some cases even willing to take
some chances (not too dangerous if your somewhat knowledgable, sensible and careful!)
If your truly set on only one or the other than you should really take your time to see what is
involved...............................

You might want to save your money for the Craig2x. It can do all that and more.
Never heard of that before, and a Google search turns up NOTHING!

That won't be out for a while yet so you won't find it on Google.

You can't play these games without an analog joystick. So GP2X is out. However, it's not likely that you will be able to play them on a PSP anyway.
