XFCE not processing Keyboard Shortcuts

I've reconfigued the Pandora button to run "xfdesktop --menu" in the keyboard settings (over using the script from the pandora/conf/events file). This used to work fine all the time, but since I upgraded to a GC Pandora which came with a different version of Super Zaxxon (1.52), this doesn't work most of the time.

If I go in to settings -> desktop -> keyboard, delete it and readd it, it works fine; but this is kind of annoying. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Also - I'm still looking for a resolution on the auto-popout of submenus

Edit: The keyboard shortcuts only seem to be a problem after a cold start - which is a problem for me, as I power off my Pandora all the time

This may help if Im following you correctly in that shortcuts you create arent working on rebooting?

The first terminal command listed  here http://boards.openpandora.org/index.php/topic/3411-keyboard-shortcuts/#entry60341  will solve that issue.

It relates to an upstream problem in our version of xfce which is fixed in version 4.8 which may make it into YARS in future.

Theres a more recent thread here aswell, which suggests SZ may have complicated things but that the fix still works

hope that helps :)
