Xgp Exposure

I agree! The DreamCast version was far from a stripped down version of the PC version, because why would it need to be?? It was capable (and still is) of doing more than Quake 3 Arena!! ;)

Well... the mini has the upper hand on the gp2x. it has a d-pad...

Upper hand? Well..

D-pad = good

Microscopic screen = shit

Sounds like a compromise not an upper hand.
Statement = Your opinion
:rolleyes:

If they ever get Quake 3 running on there, they'd have to scale it back terribly in terms of graphics and sound to meet RAM requirements, and the performance will be absolutely terrible with such a weak GPU, slow VRAM and not much of it, and no floating point support (except emulation.) And they are not going to rewrite the whole Q3 engine to be fixed-point. That said, the performance of Q1/Q2 should be pretty damn good, and I do look forward to the 2D acceleration abilities of such a design.
