there are alot of characters out there but not many attacks out yet. It's much harder than moving.

Heres an extremely crud moveset for kirby

try out my cloud move and attack in the gigas site. I spend 3 hours trying to make a smooth looking attack but it still isn't that good. If someone can help me modidfy cloud's attack thank you.

I will have 2 chars soon, but no attack, I might try ans make an attack for them, but I wouldnt have them in in a few days
one is a black-ish monk and the other is a bad-guy in red armor

coming to realise that I need good guys as well as enemies for in my diablo game there is going to be parties of people the got seperated from larger grops and hide in the dungeon, kinda like a safe point for the main person

I have 1 char, with attack, and enough tiles to populate 4 scenes. Ive put together a few mockup levels where my guy runs through and hits the hotspots and teles between them. Its looking just like the game I ripped it all from. I dont know if Im going to be able to do anything with it. It might end up being just a tester until I can get some more of the things I need implimented. Oh ya..its all river city ransom. If anyone wants the sprites or what tiles ive added to pirotics sprite sheet just pm me or reply to this.

Here's a modified version of Enslaved's SWAT character without his gun; I'll be using him as a thief in mine if I ever get round to doing it. Thanks for doing the original, Enslaved; it was this or Shadow (FFVI), and Shadow looks... I dunno... slightly older than this guy somehow. And since the story I'm using puts the guy at maybe... 16 ish - at least to start with - that isn't quite what I needed.

SWAT guy without gun (I'd put it inline, but the board won't accept .bmp images...)

hey green mikey, where in Ohio do you live?

also, I lost both of my chars to a computer problem
however, It will be easy to remake them because I had to do alot of stuff on the monk due to black being transparent
now with the pink, it will be easy

~Octavious

you live in Y-Town?
IM in a little town just out of Canton ( its east of Canton , hence the name - East Canton )
didnt think anyone in Ohio had a 32 , thats how rare I thought they are...
cool

Maybe someday we can meet up. Im on wheels alot, I just came back from canada yesterday. 8 hours straight of driving..how fun. I guess it was worth it since the drinking age is 19 there. I had a good weekend.

nice mattmagoo
i would try and make my own charaters but i can't do photoshop at all
are there any good guide to using it
id like to do some visual tinkering of my own

I dont use photoshop for my sprites, just good old fashioned PAINT

its quite simple to rip characters by using Snes9x and delayering the rom so u can remove the floor, then all you need to do is PRNT SCRN and then cut the character out and make the backgroud pink

When u are make te sprite run i ften find it's easiest to get them to run into a wall, then you have al the time to get the best shot, u cold also think about slowing the speed down (GbA only i think), try and find out the rythm of the character, how they move, is it left foot, right fott left, foot etc. or to the stand straight between each step

If u wanna make your own characters then find a snes chatacter that is a in a similar style to what you want, the draw lines across the box where the top of the head is, where the neck is, where the waistline is and where the feet start, then work on your character from that

And as you can see from the Harvest Moon character theres doesnt always have to be a thick black line around your sprite

Sorry it can't b more detailed but I got a Business test in 4 hours
