Hey, this can be the whatever happend too topic. In it we ask the community non annoying things that yo know the answer too about a project that was forgotten or not updated in a while. Always search the forum before asking.

My question is whatever happened to the GP32 linux?
 
I think it'll not be continued, but was only a challenge.
Anyway it seems the gp32 has not ram enough to run it properly. :)
 
Well, linux is running well on the iPod (no, really, there is a port) but the iPod uses a FAT file system, which the GP32 lacks, which is what the big hurdle was IIRC.
 
The big hurdle with GP32 linux is the missing SMC block driver suitable for the GP32 card "reader". 8mb is plenty for linux btw.
Basically, it's running (with a serial cable you're actually able to _use_ it!).
