Upcoming games you are looking forward to?

I never had that on the Dreamcast, but I can't rule out it having been ported there. I certainly saw it on the N64, although it's not a game I've personally ever owned, so I've not given it a try under emulation so far.

The Dreamcast version was fairly close to the PC version, the N64 I think had a lot of graphical sacrifices if I recall.

But superior controls, I think (I never played it). That won't apply to playing on the Pyra, so the Dreamcast version should be sufficient.

Not quite the right thread but anyone know how likely it is we’d be able to play Mirror’s Edge on the Pyra?

Prob very unlikely, outside some streaming method like moonlight.

“Moonlight for PS Vita (Homebrew)

Stream to a Homebrew-enabled PlayStation Vita (Community port)”
Would that be an option for us or?

As there are now a lot of games available on the Switch, i wanted to play when they where first released for Consoles i ditnt had, like Goat Simulator, Sainths Row 4, Spintires, House Flipper, Farmers Dynastie, etc, im now only looking forward for the Pyra,
Its some sort of a UBER Gameboy for me, ..
This Night i dreamd, i bought a GBA SP, which was offered as a normal one, but then was a pretty cool One (one whit the better Screens).. , maybe this is just a link to the Pyra..., my Brain cant imagine a Pyra yet, even though its about the same as a Pandora, so its draw a pretty cool Gameboy in my Dreams..

On Pyra i looking forward for some of these cool Romhacks i just discovered this year, like Super Mario Land DX, and New Super Mario Land (which is SML on the Super Nintendo, including Plane and Submarine Level, ), and hopefully everything from the Pandora..

I'm looking forward to the Pyra for playing these games on it:
Rogue
SuperTux
SuperTuxKart
Tee Worlds (hopefully it works with circlepad)
Hurrican
Robot Oddessay
Patience
Core Wars

And on Emulators on the Pyra:
Gex 64
Super Mario 64 (DS)
Donkey Kong 64
Super Smash Bros. 64

And if the Pyra can handle GC emulation well:
Luigi's Mansion
Super Mario Sunshine
Super Smash Bros. Melee

And if the Pyra handles Wii emulation well:
Super Smash Bros. Bawrl

And if the Pyra handles Switch Emulation well:
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

And if the Pyre handles emulation of the Switch's successor well:
Super Smash Bros. 6

And if the Pyra handles emulation of the successor of the successor of the Switch well:
Super Smash Bros. 7

You mean Star Wars Pod Racer? if so likely the Dreamcast version will play with Riecast.
Granted this is on a RPi but looks like SW Racer ought to be able to work for us through Box86 and WINE: :) ?

Hah, I've never seen Alone in the Dark abbreviated to Alone before now, it's traditionally AitD. All of those games had console equivalents, and AitD 4 was even aimed at consoles and released later on PC. The dreamcast version shows the most promise of being able to run that on out Pyras I expect.

Similarly SW: Pod Racer was released on N64. I don't have a copy of that personally, so I've never tried it under Mupen on my Pandora. It also came out on Dreamcast according to the top of the page.

And Sega Rally was on Saturn, which traditionally at least doesn't emulate all that well. Sega Rally 2 is on the Dreamcast, running under a windows me kernel, but I don't know how well that emulated either.

The benefit of all of these games is that they have the potential to run smoother since they're probably not capped at 30fps. While their performance under box86 is sub 30fps (for Pod Racer at least) and they're perhaps less likely to have the sound emulation running ahead of the graphics like in Sega Rally the console versions are worth invesigating for now.

Seeing sega rally there does make me wonder how well the Screamer games run under box86 now though. I can't find anyone on youtube who's done this yet. The problem may be that apart from Screamer 4x4 all of the Milestone developed games run under proprietary graphics cards. Maybe they'd run better under dosbox though, since dosbox+glide apparently runs the second and third games well.

Metro Siege on my Amiga, there will also be releases on modern systems too.

Looks pretty nice... But also looks a bit too much like streets of rage IMO
