16days Entries Discussion

Or you could slice the thing up into four 10 meg pieces, open up a gmail account and post the login/pass on this board.

I have installed a few of the entries and have to say i am very impressed with all the ones i installed.

Smash GP is great however the arenas are far too big, when you have 4 players on and one character is ove one side and one another then the camera pans out to far and i tend to lose control at that point.

However its got great potential and i can see it being on my SMC for a while to come.

Akanoid is very polished and even comes with a create a level mode ( i will try that out later). It has replaced Bokatoid which had been my SMC longest runner :)

Elena i have not had much of a chance to play but so far so good, reminds me of Tetrisphere.

Lacuna one word to describe this one HARD!

Just uploading the complete zip file to my web space (should have enough space left  ). Bt are gonna love me :p .

Will post a link when it`s done. About 15 mins ;).

Ok, Link posting postponed. :)

Pleeease, don't create that zip yet.

I wanted to upload everything ASAP onto the GP32x File Archive and therefore asked craigix and Guyfawkes about it.

They use sponsors on the official site to come up with the costs they have doing the competition!

So they ask me to wait a few days with mirroring, so that they'll get enough site visits.

If you want to create that zip, please wait a few days making it downloadable and thus help future competitions!

What's the point of a game that's easy ;)
Actually, I was worried that I'd made the default settings (speed 3, gap size 2) a bit too easy. Most of the testing was done using speed 3 gap size 1, and my current favourite mode is speed 4 gap size 2 (high score of 5688 so far on that mode, but unfortunatly that wasn't set by me  my score is only about 5300). For those of you that didn't read the instructions (shame on you, they are only 5 lines long!) you can use A to thrust upwards (I know of one person who didn't realise this). This may make it a little easier for you. :)

Go for it.

The MGS VR missions is quite impressive bit jerky but good though, i like aka noid pretty fun i expect it will stay on me SMC for a while, SmashGP is bloody good gonna have a tinker with the character editor in a min i think. Havent really had time to try any others they look good though.

WOW. Fantastic entries in this compo. Smash gp is indeed very impressive (though I wish the characters were a bit more responsive), Elena's great; 3d tetris on the gp! Arka-noid is very very nice too, my personal fav so far. Props to all the authors and Craig for hosting this compo. Great job; can't wait to try out the other entries

Ah, that'll teach me not to read the readme :p

It's definitely my favourite.

Pituka is great! It really needs to be easier to load stuff though... Too... much... typing!
