Ok, I installed the Firefox Popup blocker extension, BUT Popups are still appearing... The Popup blocker is enabled... anyone else get this problem ?

I have no spyware (Scanned with the new Adaware and Spy Bot )

And its a pritty shit popup blocker if you have to add the popup links yourself :p, so its not that....

???
you don't need an extension for popup-blocking in FF 1.0
activate it in the preferences (in 'web features')

I thinking of spyware as well.. use spyware blaster which is a nice preventer of spyware..

Yeh I've got Firefox and occaisonally I get popups too. i've also scanned for spyware but it couldn't find any. (maybe I need a newer spyware finder though)

damn straight Opera. i get no pop ups, no spyware, no infected cookies (i have it set to delete them when i close opera). the only times i get spyware is when i use IE.

i've never had a single popup in firefox, firefox popup blocker is enabled by default. i'd go along with klown and say you've got spyware.

it may be worth trying a few different virus scanners etc

i'm currently running Network Associates VirusScan and run AdAware every couple of weeks yet Avast! found a trojan or some such during a boot scan yesterday!

i dunno firefox blocks all the pop ups and i didnt even install an extension, why not uninstall the extension....maybe its interfering with firefox's default pop up blocker

I must agree with others here, one of the main reasons I got Firefox was it's ability to block pop-ups by default. And I've never had one unless I tell Firefox to allow it.
