Wow, I can't believe it, am I the last person to want to download the new Osnes9x by Reesy???  The link is down in his post, and it can no longer be download from.  Can someone post a link to the file?  Or just email it to me at  reaper79 [AT] rationalanarchy [DOT] com?  I'll host it if no one else will.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

Hang on a bit, I'll e-mail it to you ...

Ok, sent. I zipped it with a tiny .txt with Reesy's reccomended settings.

BTW, you may wany to edit your post and hide your actual e-mail addy (as I have shown above) ... damn spambots are EVERYwhere ;)

Hopefully it will be using ASM routeens as that is what will be needed to run at a decent speed with sound. SNES must be the hardest 16 bit system to emulate well.

Angelfire have disabled my account. They obviously didn't like hot-linking to the files from this board. Oh well I'll have to arrange some more space, no problem.

Note to Reesy: Hot Linking is BAD!, do not do it. slaps wrist

P.S
@greenmikey: Thanks I'm feeling the love now :)

Nah I still had 750MB left a couple of days ago, I'm pretty sure its not been downloaded that much. They disabled my account, I'm pretty sure they did it because I hot-linked to files but hey it was free so no great loss.

Oh, no I meant Deadlychicken22.

but yeah Reesy. I'm suprised they let you hotlink anything at all for the amount of time you had it up.

Not to be pushy, but just for my own information- how long does something like this usually take before it will work fine on the BLU+?

There shold be a selector for the different LCD type on the first screen hit the B button to switch modes, that should stop it from jumping to the intro to see it since it seems to go by pretty fast if you just leave it. (atleast it does for me). That's assuming BLU+ mode is working.

(hmm I guess I was mistaken, I've switched to BLU+ mode in DrMD before because it actually looks a little nicer on my FLU, I tried it here while making ths post and it resets, sorry I thought it worked, my bad.)

Well the problem is I thought I had fixed it, I can't see what else I can do other than rip out all of Mr.Spivs LCD code and replace it with the LCD code from Mr.Mirkos SDK. The problem is compounded by the fact that I am unable to test if it works because I do not have a BLU+.

Actually there must be an easier fix as I remember someone writing a patching problem to make BLU applications BLU+ compatible. I'll have a look around and see what he had to do.

My bet would be Amiga.

I hope this hasn't already been mentioned but when changing settings within the OpenSnes9x GUI, it doesn't always seem to select the currently highlighted option. It seems to choose the option to the left or right but then other times it will work fine. Has anyone else noticed this? Btw, I'm using a 166 MHz BLU+. Anyway, great progress Reesy :D

:)
