Anyone Into Shenmue?

Pretty awsome game with top of the line realism, it almost makes you feel like you are living the story.

I really enjoyed this game!

Never played it but I hear number 3 is supposed to have the whole story I,II and III in one package. If it dosent go exclusive to X360 I'd pick it up for PS3.

I also have the DVD of the first game... It's obviously better as a game than a Movie.

i love shenmue and really want to play a third part. on whatever console it will be released i have to buy it! i want to know how the story ends!!
btw, shenmue on nextgen, that would be photorealism when you look what the dreamcast cast on the screen. ;)

Farenheit?.....
Um, its hardly more than a good minigame collection with nice graphics and an excellent story. A good game still, but hardly one of the best...

i might try that fix, not sure, because all my other games work fine, but i've tried two different copies of Shenmue and neither worked, so i don't know if i want to risk screwing up my DC for one game.

Are you saying this about Fahrenheit or Shenmue?

As for me, I love both, but Fahrenheit hardly compares to Shenmue.

I must admit, Farenheit does look shit, I've only read the reviews however, so I can't make any decent comments on it. Shenmue seems a lot more climatic, like... helicopter scenes, those chase scenes, that scene in the forest bit thingy, Farenheit looks drab and dull and full of murder. Shenmue looks good, fun, replayable and funny. Which would you choose?

Am I the only one impressed with Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy's graphics? I mean it's a PS2 game, people..

And there's not helicopter scene in Shenmue (though there is in Fahrenheit). Fahrenheit is anything but dull--just try the scene where Lucas is being attacked by the HUGE gnats.

Theres a helicopter scene in Shenmue II....near the end before you begin the final boss.

Well, yeah, when Lan Di escapes from the Yellow Head Building, but I'd barely call it a "helicopter scene" (though it was freaking awesome).

Oh, and I loved the fourth disc of Shenmue II. Most amazing gaming experience ever--it's that simple.
