Well, Did I Make A Mistake?

Having used Windows and other Microsoft products and their so-called "service pack" bug patches, I was expecting some issues with GP2x. However, after reading gp2x.co.kr and gpain.co.kr for about a half an hour, now I'm getting really worried... Yes, those firmware related issues will be sorted out eventually that I can wait. However, those joystick not working if you press left, earphone jack not working if you plug in all the way, and such problems won't be fixed unless I get a replacement...Oh well, honestly, I don't know any more.

Codeninja... My left joystick works just fine. I am able to scroll through the UI using both left and right. I haven't tried headphones yet, but I have no problem plugging them in fully. I haven't tried hooking it up as a USB device yet. I transfer all files directly to SD on my laptop through the internal card reader. One thing that irritates me a little is having to press start to back up in the UI, but that could be easily changed to a B-button press or made user customisable in a firmware update.

I think you have nothing to worry about at least from what I have experienced so far. I have only watched a video, but that worked just fine.

That would be cruel, to have the same faults with the D-Pad again... I mean they fixed it with the BLU+, so I hope it won`t be back on the gp2x.

Btw, fomit, why do you already have a gp2x?

Quiest...

I'm teaching English in Korea this year and I had my office manager preorder one of the first 500 for me.

I meant to post this message on GP2x forum, but I don't know how to move this thread. Sorry
